LEADERSHIP

Leah Gardenier is a shareholder and part of the fifth generation of leadership at M.E. Dey & Co. Born into the family company, with both parents actively involved in the business, Leah’s connection to the industry was nurtured from a young age. She began her journey at M.E. Dey with part-time roles during high school, a commitment she maintained throughout her college years. Leah pursued higher education at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business, specializing in supply chain management, in 2016.

After a brief period exploring opportunities outside the industry, Leah returned to M.E. Dey, bringing fresh insights to her role in the accounting division. Her dedication to her professional development continued, as evidenced by her achievement in obtaining a Custom’s broker license in 2021. Currently, Leah is part of the Accounting team and handles various Corporate Accounting functions while embracing the challenges and rewards of being part of the organization.

Leah is a huge animal lover and has helped organize numerous walks and fundraising programs in the office which benefit local animal shelters. Away from the office, Leah enjoys time at home with her dog and cat and volunteers at the Wisconsin Humane Society. Through her professional endeavors and personal interests, Leah exemplifies the values of leadership, dedication, and community involvement.
