Exporters not using our services may need to adjust their export processes in the new year.  U.S. exporters that file paper Shippers Export Declarations (SED’s) must begin using the newest version of the form by January 18, 2004. The Dept. of Commerce revised Form 7525-V on July 18, 2003. Customs and Border Protection has continued accepting the prior version during a grace period. The grace period will expire on January 17, 2004. After that date, only the revised version will be acceptable to comply with export reporting obligations.  M.E.Dey has electronically filed all required SED’s for nearly a decade
